In its comments, FanLabel differentiated between music contracts based on objective third-party metrics like streams and chart positions, and more speculative contracts whose results could be swayed by a small group of insiders. The company emphasized that responsible music prediction markets should be developed in collaboration with rights holders, data providers, and regulated exchanges.
